2016 medals: 1 (One gold)

One of two Swiss hopes in Canada, Isabelle Forrer and Anouk Vergé-Dépré won their first tournament gold together at the Xiamen Open in April.

There might be a 10-year age difference between 34-year-old Isabelle and 24-year-old Anouk, but the team’s performances on the FIVB World Tour have been excellent.

After a quarterfinal finish at the A1 Major Klagenfurt the duo reached the last-16 at the Olympics before losing to eventual gold medal winners Ludwig/Walkenhorst.

Fun fact! Both players have won medals at the FIVB U21 World Championships in the past.
