This week we’re counting down our favorite five memories from the Swatch Beach Volleyball FIVB World Tour Finals in Toronto.

Here’s number four… (here's number five, by the way)

Beach volleyball at Polson Pier, Toronto, Ontario, Canada

It had been 16 long years since Toronto last hosted an international beach volleyball event until the Swatch World Tour Finals rolled in to town to put on a show and boy what a show!

But why on earth was the wait that long?!

Happy, friendly fans? Check.
Incredible city with tons to do? Check.
THAT SKYLINE BACKDROP TO CENTER COURT? CHECCCCKKK!

Yes, so we could just fill this article full of gorgeous shots of that iconic skyline of Toronto – but that would be cheating a little…

Who are we kidding?! Let’s do exactly that. Just look at these photographs! Talk about the perfect setting to end the perfect season, right?

Toronto surely now is mighty close to topping the list of the most incredible locations we have witnessed beach volleyball – and we aren’t going to forget it in a hurry. In fact, our dreams will mostly be made of up of replaying these scenes in our heads as our minds drift into thinking about the 2017 season!

Thanks again Toronto!

Morning...Morning...

Noon...Noon...

Evening...Evening...

and good night, Toronto!and good night, Toronto!
