2016 medals: 0

While they might be still chasing an elusive first medal this season, Argentina’s finest Ana Gallay and Georgina Klug remain one of the most consistent teams on the FIVB World Tour.

The 2015 South American champions have become the nearly women of the tour, finishing fourth four times and fifth three times in the 15 tournaments they’ve played together so far in 2016.

They reached the bronze medal match at the A1 Major Klagenfurt last month but lost out to Switzerland’s Heidrich/Zumkehr. You have to go back a year for their last medal - the silver they won at the Xiamen Open in September 2015.

Fun fact! The Argentinians have only won one gold medal together as a team – and that came last year in the women’s Pan Am Games. And where was that? Toronto!
